First game

At the first game,which was against John Glenn you have, everyone is always really nervous, but not me. I figured that I wouldn't have any playing time, so I wasn't scared. I can't mess up the game, if I'm not in it. So if I can't mess up the game, then there is nothing to be worried about. So I was sitting the bench the first game. But I made sure I was paying attention so i wouldn't get in trouble. Then after the first game(it was a double header), the coach called me in to play first. That's when the butterflies swarmed to my stomach, my arms and legs started to tremble...I was nervous. I was actually going to be put in the game, taking the spot of a Junior!! I couldn't believe it! I was a little excited that was I playing, but I was scared to death thinking 'omg I can mess up the whole game'. So the next time I went out I went to take my spot, warmed up the infield, and then it was time for the inning to start. After the first inning was over my butterflies left my stomach and my arms and legs were finished with trembling. I thought I was only going to be in there for a little bit, but nope I was in there for the whole second game. Which was a little longer than the first game, but we merced John Glenn both times, so it wasn't like a really long time I was in the game, but it was nice to still be put in.
